As one of the largest and strongest building societies in the UK, we continually review how our Society is run to make sure we’re acting in the best long-term interests of all our members. That’s why, after careful consideration, we’ve closed some of our Yorkshire Building Society branches.

Over time we have seen fewer of our members using branches and an increasing number using the internet to manage their accounts. We are still fully committed to offering a face-to-face service but also need to recognise the evolving ways in which customers want to transact.

Yorkshire Building Society carefully selects businesses to act as local agencies on our behalf. Agencies are able to offer Yorkshire Building Society savings accounts and simple savings transactions.
